Chollas Creek Segment 5 Restoration and Trail Project
Client: Groundwork San Diego Design/Permitting phase of creek restoration project restoring 1,200 linear ft of creek while providing flood control benefits and constructing a Class 1 bike path included in the Southeastern San Diego Community Plan. KSC Role: Project Manager for design/permitting phase. KSC leads the team responsible for project design and obtaining City of San Diego SDP/Grading permits, USACE 404, RWQCB 401, and CDFW SAA. |

KSC assists FRA grant project managers in assessing project risk, refining project scope, schedule, budget, and providing initial review of capital improvement project deliverables. |

Client: TY Lin (sub) $1.3B new state-of-the-art border crossing facility for the San Diego-Baja California region. KSC Role: Environmental Compliance and Sustainability PM Consultant. Monitors and reports on contractor's adherence to environmental and sustainability obligations. Assists SANDAG in coordinating environmental inspections, and recommends any needed changes in environmental compliance activities. |

Quality Assurance 101 Staff Training
Client: CA State Water Resources Control Board Custom 6-hour training module for internal SWRCB staff focused on providing knowledge and skills aligned with quality standards and culture at SWRCB. KSC Role: Training Design Specialist. KSC led the SWRCB team to identify training goals and develop course activities that use evidence-based learning strategies. Based on the successful outcomes of the training, SWRCB has continued to offer the course each year since it was first offered. |
