Groundwork San Diego Federal Blvd Chollas Creek Restoration and Trail ProjectKirstin Skadberg Consulting Is the Project Manager for this restoration and trail project on Chollas Creek in City Heights, San Diego. Ms. Skadberg was the primary author of two grant applications that resulted in $6.5M awarded to the project. The cement channel will be removed from this segment of the creek, and the creek channel will be regraded, natural boulders placed, and native plants installed along the bank to return the creek reach to a soft-bottom naturalistic channel. A recreational trail will extend from Home Ave to Sunshine Berardini Field.

city of san diego north city pure water facility permit work plan(Sub to Jacobs)
Kirstin Skadberg Consulting worked with Jacobs to prepare the Permit Work Plan for the City of San Diego North City Pure Water Facility, which will treat recycled water to produce 30 million gallons of purified water per day when it is completed in 2021. The plan includes all Federal, State and local permits required for construction and operation of the facility. |

As the project Environmental Compliance Manager, Kirstin Skadberg Consulting prepared the Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) for the project, and developed and presented the Archaeological, Natural, Cultural and Physical Resources Protection Training to contractor staff. The EPP included a number of sub-plans including a Waste Management Plan, Contaminant Prevention Plan, Waster Water Management Plan and a Historical, Archaeological, Physical, Cultural and Biological Resources Plan. KSC also performed a pre-construction tree survey and developed detailed documentation of vegetation on the project site. |
